Home Team BBQ Robber Sketch Released

Charleston Police released a sketch of one of two suspects in a July 6 armed robbery of a couple in Home Team BBQ's parking lot.

A pair of men, one wearing a white shirt wrapped around his face as a mask and the other armed with a pistol, approached a couple in Home Team's back parking lot while they were making out and demanded all of their money, according to a Charleston Police Department incident report. The robbery occurred around 12:20 a.m. Saturday, July 6.

The robbers fled the scene after taking a cell phone from one of the victims as a car pulled into the parking lot, according to the report.

The suspect depicted in the sketch is believed to be in his late teens, between 5-feet 8-inches and 6-feet tall with a slender build, according to a police statement. Anyone with information can call Charleston Police at 577-7434 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
