A James Island man has been arrested by members of the Charleston Police Department Special Investigations Unit for making methamphetamine at a Soaring Lane residence.
Patrick M. Klein, 32, of Soaring Lane, is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. Klein was being held in the Al Cannon Detention Center.
Investigators found items at the residence that are used to manufacture methamphetamine, according to police. The investigation is ongoing.
