Charleston Police have arrested a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday, September 3, 2013 on Wateree Drive.
Cornelius Jenkins, 22, of Byron Road, is charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
The victim was walking on Wateree Drive toward Wimbee Drive when a man rode up behind him on a bicycle. The man pulled out a handgun and demanded his money. The suspect stole the victim’s money and cellular telephone.
