Margaret Rush Receives Union Endorsement in SC 42 Race
Local 863 backs the long-time Charleston resident.
Margaret Rush, a candidate in the special election for Senate District 42, has been endorsed by the Local 863 United Steel Worker's Union.
The endorsement reads:
“Margaret will be the strongest voice for labor at the State House. Her incredible experience as an arbitrator speaks volumes for the rights of workers in S.C., and we need her in the South Carolina Senate,” says Everette Jordan, President of the Local 863 United Steel Worker Union.
Election Day is Aug. 13.
