McGinley's Contract Extended Through 2016
The Charleston County School Board voted to extend Superintendent Nancy McGinley's contract through December 2016
Charleston County School Board members voted 8-1 Monday night to extend Superintendent Dr. Nancy McGinley's contract through Dec. 31, 2016.
Elizabeth Moffly was the loan vote opposed to the extension.
Board members also removed an automatic renewal provision from McGinley's contract in a separate vote. The provision would have automatically renewed McGinley's contract when it expired if the School Board took no action to stop it.
