Police Seek Missing Teen

Teen walks off from downtown facility, may be in North Charleston.

Charleston Police are searching for a Walterboro teen who was last seen in downtown Charleston.

Laura Rosa, 16, was last seen leaving the area of the Lowcountry Children’s Center on King St.about 3:30 p.m. on Friday, September 6, according to police.

"Laura is a habitual runaway and may be in the North Charleston area with her boyfriend 'Raymond,'" according to a police statement. 

Rosa is a Hispanic female standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. She has black-blond hair.

If contact is made with Laura, Police ask the public to call 911 or the on-duty Central Detective (843-577-7434).
