RiverDogs Holding Auditions for National Anthem Singers
Musicians and singers are encouraged to audition for a chance to sing the Star Spangled Banner before a RiverDogs home game during the 2013 season

Attention singers and musicians, the Charleston RiverDogs want you to sing the National Anthem before home games.
The Yankees Minor League affiliate is hosting auditions beginning at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5 at Joseph Riley Jr. Park. In case of inclement weather the auditions will be rescheduled for Wednesday, March 6.
"This is one of our more popular events of our off-season, and reminds us that the baseball season is fast approaching," said RiverDogs General Manager Dave Echols in a press statement. "Our National Anthem tryouts always draw a large number of talented individuals and groups. We appreciate their interest, and we're looking forward to the tryouts. It will be an exciting time."

Singers, musicians and ensembles with as many as nine members are eligible to audition. Groups of 10 or more can audition through the RiverDogs' Group Anthem Program.
The RiverDogs will play 70 home games during the 2013 season, and have a limited number of spots for performers. Singers and musicians who have performed the Anthem at past RiverDogs games or who have been added to the approved singer list but have not performed at a game do not need to audition again, but can instead note that on the audition application form, which is available at atmilb.com/WKS4SM. Forms must be filled out and submitted prior to audition day.
