Charleston Police release photos of suspect and SUV in downtown strong-arm robbery

Charleston Police are asking for help identifying a man they say is connected to a strong-arm robbery from earlier in the week.
Investigators released photos of a man and a vehicle allegedly involved in the case Friday.
The robbery at the intersection of King and Spring streets was reported shortly after 4 a.m. Monday, according to a Charleston Police Department statement. A dark color SUV, possibly a Honda CRV from 1995-2001, was involved.
Police say the man in the photos used the victim's stolen credit cards in North Charleston not long after the robbery was committed.
Anyone with information about the crime, or who recognizes the car or man in the photos is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111 or the Charleston Police Department at 843-577-7434.
