School Officials: Strike Unlikely
Charleston County School officials don't expect bus drivers to go on strike beginning Monday

Durham Bus company officials and bus driver union representatives are heading back to the negotiating table on Tuesday, ABCNews4 reports.
Charleston County School officials say they expect students to be picked up as normal Monday morning. Worry had been mounting over the weekend as Monday had been set as the initial day for a potential strike after negotiations between bus drivers, members of the Teamsters, and Durham Bus had broken down. Durham is a private company contracted by Charleston County and Dorchester County schools to carry students to and from school.
School will begin at normal time in both districts, and both still plan to open the shcool buildings an hour earlier on Monday as well.
