Patch is partnering with local businesses to collect school supplies for Charleston County students in need.
In Charleston supplies can be dropped off at Sojourn Coffee at 1664 Olde Town Road, or downtown at the Charleston County School District Office at 75 Calhoun St.
Another collection point is located in North Charleston at The Orange Spot Coffeehouse.
Supplies collected through the Great Patch School Supply Drive in Charleston County will go the the City of Charleston's First Day Festival, which will distribute the supplies to children in need across Charleston County.
Donations will be accepted through Aug. 6.
Requested items include:
pencils
crayons
glue sticks
erasers
hand sanitizer
paper
scissors
markers
colored pencils
red pens
blue pens
