Severe Thunder Storms, Freezing Rain to Hit South Carolina
Winter storm Jonas won't dump too much snow on South Carolina but could bring other severe weather.

Parts of South Carolina can expect severe thunderstorms and freezing rain as winter storm Jonas sweeps the country.
Heavy rain, strong wind and severe thunderstorms are predicted for Myrtle Beach Friday, weather.com predicted.
There will be temperature highs of 55 degrees Friday and lows of 39 degrees at night. Wind speeds are expected to reach up to 30 miles per hour Saturday with gusts up to 40 miles per hour. On Saturday there will be temperature highs of 42 degrees and lows of 29 at night.

Northern areas such as Rock Hill are expected to be hit with freezing rain Friday with temperature highs of 31 degrees during the day and lows of 28 at night. Morning snow showers are expected for Saturday with accumulations of less than one inch. Temperatures will likely reach 39 degrees.
Charleston will see milder weather but may experience a few severe thunder storms Friday. Temperature highs will be at 61 degrees with lows of 40 at night. Saturday will be cloudy with temperatures of about 44 degrees.
