Stephen Colbert Honors His Late Mother on TV Show

At the start of his program last night Stephen Colbert left character and paid tribute to his late mother Lorna in a way better than any obituary could.
Lorna Colbert, mother to 11 children, died last week at the age of 92 after a long illness.
During her congressional campaign Elizabeth Colbert cited her mother as one of the major influences in her decision to run for office.
