Two Students Charged with Interference of School Bus Operations
The Charleston County Sheriff's Office charged two students with interference of school bus operations at a West Ashley bus stop

The Charleston County Sheriff's Office arrested two students from a school bus at a West Ashley bus stop Tuesday afternoon following a call about someone smoking marijuana on the bus.
Errol Chisolm, Jr., 17, of 6846 Lot 147 Dorchester Road North Charleston, and Rashawn Bradley, 17, of 2819 Houston Street North Charleston were each charged with interference with the operation of a school bus, according to a Sheriff's Office statement.
Deputies responded to the bus at a stop on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard after receiving a complaint that two students were smoking marijuana on the bus. At the bus stop the driver pointed a deputy toward the rear of the bus where he encountered Chisolm who was "agitated and began to act aggressively towards the deputy and resisted being detained," according to the statement.

After arresting Chisolm, the driver told deputies there was another issue on the bus with Bradley attempting to get off and then cursing at the driver when he was told to sit down, according to the statement. The deputies then approached Bradley who "displayed resistance to the deputies as they attempted to escort him from the bus due to fellow riders creating a hostile environment on the bus," according to the statement.
No marijuana or drug paraphernalia was recovered from either suspect or the bus, according to the statement.
