West Ashley Man Killed in Hwy. 61 Crash
Car flipped after hitting a tree near Magnolia Gardens.

A man was killed early Sunday morning after his car flipped over on Hwy. 61 near Magnolia Gardens.
The Charleston County Coroner's Office identified the driver as 45-year-old Grady Garris, II, of West Ashley. He died of injuries sustained in the wreck.
The Charleston County Sheriff's Office located Garris' car, a 2001 BMW, overturned near a tree off of Hwy. 61 around 3 a.m. Sunday, according to a CCSO statement.
The single vehicle collision occurred when Garris' car left the roadway and struck a tree, causing it to flip over.Â
