What Should Go Here: Meineke
Coming out of the Great Recession empty storefronts are pretty common, but we want to know what Patch.com users want to see fill those empty business properties
Another piece of the Auto-Mile is back on the market now that the Meineke at 1648 Savannah Hwy. has closed.
This spot sits in an area along U.S. 17 where several restaurants have congregated in recent years, and though a former auto shop may not immediately spring to mind as an ideal place to convert to a restaurant, it can be done well - just look up the street at Triangle Char & Bar.
Of course another auto shop could move into the building and probably be ready to open in no time at all.
