What Should Go Here: The Book Exchange
Coming out of the Great Recession empty storefronts are pretty common, but we want to know what Patch.com users want to see fill those empty business properties
For years and years, The Book Exchange was a great place to find and sell used books in West Ashley, but the business called it quits in 2012.
This spot took on new life as the campaign season got into full swing when the Charleston County Democratic Party moved in, but that only lasted until election day.
Now this spot between Doscher's and Arena City Soccer is vacant once again.All things considered, this should be an attractive location. It's on a busy highway with immediate access to two traffic lights, however it is located along a stretch of Savannah Highway that could stand a few aesthetic upgrades, which may detract some from the location.
