What Went There: Badcock & More Opening Soon

Badcock & More Home Furniture will soon be opening at 1720 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., filling a large vacant retail space that has already been home to at least one other furniture store.

The West Ashley store will be Badcock's second in the Charleston area, the company has an existing store in Summerville. Badcock carries a full range of furniture, including mattresses, as well as electronics, appliances and more.

Over the past eight months West Ashley Patch has looked at dozens of unused commercial properties for the weekly What Should Go Here feature. Now some of those properties, like this one, are finding new life as new businesses move in.
