Asia-Pacific, Southeast, West, LA in Semi-Finals of Big League World Series

International Semi Final begins at 4pm Tuesday, US Semi Final begins at 7:30pm

Four teams will battle it out Tuesday in the Big League World Series semi-finals today to determine who will play in the Championship Game, under the lights and live on ESPN Wednesday

Asia-Pacific takes on Latin America at 4pm Tuesday in the International Semi-Final.

Asia-Pacific is undefeated in the tournament. They beat Canada 10-0 Monday afternoon.

Latin America is 3-1 in the tournament. They beat Europe-Africa 4-1 Sunday.

The semi-final brings Latin America against Asia-Pacific for the second time in this year’s series. On Saturday, the Venezuelan team fell to Chinese-Taipei 7-1.

Southeast will play West in the US Semi-Final at 7:30pm Tuesday night.  

Southeast is also undefeated so far in the series. They were set to play East on Monday but East’s disqualification from the Big League World Series gave Southeast a forfeit win.

Southeast, which is the Greenville District 7 team, beat the SC District 1 Host Team Saturday 1-0.

West (Thousand Oaks, California) is 3-1 in the tournament. They beat Central 7-5 on Saturday.

On Friday, in their first match-up in the this year’s series, Southeast beat West 6-1.

The Championship Game will be played at 6:30pm Wednesday, July 31.
