Clemson Medallion Nominations Now Open
Clemson Medallion is presented to individuals who have rendered notable and significant service and support to Clemson University and who exemplify the dedication and foresight of university founder Thomas Green Clemson.

The Clemson University board of trustees has opened nominations for the Clemson Medallion from Aug. 28 to Oct. 4.
The Clemson Medallion is the highest honor conferred upon an individual by Clemson University. It is presented to individuals who have rendered notable and significant service and support to Clemson University and who exemplify the dedication and foresight of university founder Thomas Green Clemson.
Nominees must be living individuals who have long embodied the essence of the purpose of the award and who have repeatedly demonstrated the high moral character that the award symbolizes. The award is principally reserved for nominees who attended Clemson University and others who have experienced a long, close and meaningful relationship with the university.

Any current or former students or members of the Clemson University community may nominate someone to receive the Clemson Medallion. The nomination may be accompanied by additional letters of support and/or any other brief materials that might appropriately support the nomination.

A selection committee composed of six university officials will choose the recipient.
