The “Celebrate the Carolinas” tour has been giving cities and towns a chance to let viewers know about some of the things that make each community special.

There's sure to be spotlights on Easley businesses and charitable organizations and chats with Big League World Series officials and players.

They're hoping for a large crowd, so come out and bring signs and lots of energy. They're also encouraging people to dress in costume!

Last year's filming ended with a big dance party involving the crowd and the anchors, so anything can happen.

Big League World Series play doesn't start until tomorrow, but the fun starts this afternoon with Fan Fest at the J.B. “Red” Owens Complex.

A Home Run Derby featuring BLWS players begins at 6pm, then a Team Walk will be held at 7:15pm before headliner Casey James, an American Idol contestant, takes the stage at 8pm. The evening will conclude with a fireworks show.

Speaking of baseball, Groucho's Deli is celebrating the BLWS with a special promotion that began Monday and continues today. Wear a baseball cap to Groucho's Deli today and receive 10% off any purchase of 2 Dippers and 2 drinks.

The Easley Farmers Market will hold its Tuesday Evening Market from 5-8pm today in front of City Hall.

The LCT Band will be providing the tunes at Tuesday's market and a new vendor will be offering meals-to-go including Italian Sausage and Pepper sandwiches and Meatball sandwiches.

Even if you come to the market early today, you'll want to stick around until 7pm or so, when the judging of the market's Pie-Baking contest begins.
