2% Hospitality Tax Returns for Final Reading

The contentious proposed ordinance that would raise a 2-percent tax on prepared food and beverages returns in front of Goose Creek City Council Tuesday during the city's regular meeting.

The meeting is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Goose Creek City Hall. 

The tax was proposed to raise money for tourism and recreation improvements around the city. However, City Council tabled the ordinance before final reading in June.
