
Three residents have filed a lawsuit against the chairman of Berkeley County School Board, Count on 2 News reported.
Dr. Kent Murray has been sued by Terry Hardesty, Nancy Corbin and Linda Riney. The suit filers claim their constitutional rights were violated by the recent change in the school board's commenting policy, which restricts comments on the ethics investigation by SLED, according to Count on 2 News.
The ethics charges stem from the district's involvement in the $198 million school bond referendum passed last November.Â
