Deputies: Two Arrested, One Sought on Drug Charges

Agents with the Berkley County Sheriff's Office Drug Enforcement Unit have arrested two people on drug charges after a search warrant was executed at a Goose Creek home.

Geno Curtis White, 22, and Xandrea Jacquisha Coardes, 19, of 2001 Bearclaw Drive, Goose Creek, have been charged with charged with trafficking cocaine and distribution of a controlled substance within half-mile of a school. White also was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime and felon in possession of a firearm. 

A third suspect, Carl Demone Nelson, 23, of the same address, is wanted.

Deputies said that after the warrant was executed narcotics agents found 43 grams of cocaine and a stolen gun. Deputies also seized money, a vehicle and other items from the residence.

In addition to the stolen weapon that was found at the residence, another handgun also was located on the property.
