Football Match-Ups This Week: Who Will Continue Undefeated?

Hanahan, Goose Creek and Stratford are all undefeated — but can it last?

If you go by the numbers, probably. The AAAA teams will go up against two other area teams that have suffered losses already in the season. 3-0 Goose Creek will play 2-1 Fort Dorchester at home, and 3-0 Stratford will play 0-3 Ashley Ridge at home. 

And the AAA team, No. 9 Hanahan, plays 3-1 and No. 67 Edisto Friday away. 

Goose Creek and Stratford don't play each other until Nov. 8 — the last game of the regular season. That game will be played at Stratford.

Between then and now, No. 10 Stratford won't see a powerhouse team like Goose Creek — with opponents on schedule like Colleton (which just ended its 36-game losing streak last week) and Wando (which granted Colleton its first win in years). 

However, No. 3 Goose Creek will be asked to rise up against another currently undefeated team, No. 8 Dutch Fork, before meeting Stratford.
