Goose Creek Residents No Longer Need To Pay For Recycling

Goose Creek residents who currently pay Republic Services for recycling no longer need to do so, thanks to a new recycling operation.

From the City of Goose Creek: Goose Creek residents who currently pay Republic Services for recycling no longer need to do so, thanks to a new recycling operation in Berkeley County.

The County’s new, state-of-the-art recycling facility is now processing all waste in Berkeley County. The facility, which is run by RePower South, automatically separates recyclable material from the trash. Trash that cannot be recycled will be taken to the county landfill.

City of Goose Creek sanitation services will not be affected by this change, nor will any trash pick-up dates be changed.
