Marrington Elementary 5th Grade Students “Roar” Into The Future!

Students and staff were delightfully stunned during lunch time at The MNE “Café” on a sunny Thursday afternoon.  Out of the blue, the entire 5th grade jumped up on stage and surrounded the cafeteria as they “did” a flash mob song and dance to Katy Perry’s hit “Roar.” They sang out loud and strong:  “I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter...dancing through the fire; ‘Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar…louder, louder than a lion….’Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar!”

As the 5th grade students leave their legacy and prepare to “roar” boldly into their bright and shining future, the entire Marrington “Family” is just glad they came.

Photos feature students from Mrs. Katie Lamb’s and Mrs. Jan Nutt 5th grade classes.  Additionally Principal Barb Webber roared right along!  Pictures will be sent in two batches!
