Obituary: Frank Roque Lamigo

Graveside service Tuesday at Fort Jackson.

Frank Roque Lamigo, 75, of Goose Creek, passed away February 6, 2013.

Born in the Philippines, he was the son of the late Francisco and Placido Roque Lamigo. Frank served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam. After retiring from the Navy, he worked in civil service for many years. Mr. Lamigo was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Kerry Lamigo-Folk and husband Jeff of Orangeburg; two brothers, Angelito Lamigo of Texas and Gerry Lamigo of California; three sisters, Pilar Herrera and Cristina Dano both of California and Rosalinda Samano of Philippines; former wife and friend Betty Lamigo. Frank is also survived by his three grandchildren, Avery, Ashton and Ardyn Folk.

Graveside service with military honors will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 11, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL, 869 St. James Avenue.
