SPAWAR's First Female Commander Takes Helm
Change of command ceremony was Thursday.
Spawar Systems Center Atlantic has installed its first female commander, Live 5 News reported.
Captain Amy Burin previously was on assignment at the Chief of Naval Operations Information Dominance Directorate as Deputy Director, Navy Space Chief, Space Policy, Capabilities, and Requirements. She is the third commanding officer of SSC Atlantic, and first Information Dominance Corps Warfare Officer commanding SSC Atlantic.
