Electric City Playhouse Hosts "Messiah on the Frigidaire" Writer
Playwright John Culbertson Attends Post-Show Q&A at Electric City Playhouse
Electric City Playhouse (ECP) in Anderson is presenting John Culbertson's dramatic comedy, "Messiah on the Frigidaire".
On opening Sunday (November 17), Mr. Culbertson attended the show, talked with audience, cast, and crew in a post-show Q&A, plus spent time taking photos and signing show posters and playbills.
Generous with his stories, and insight, Mr. Culbertson graciously made positive note of ECP's cast and Will Nickles' set.

The production is also receiving warm response from audiences. Mr. Culbertson's delightful script balances humor, conflict, and soul-searching from the memorable characters. The ECP cast is: Harriet Boatwright; Ed Chambers; Chuck W. Chapman; Ben Crews; Tish Crittendon; Philip Hiott; Joey Oppermann; Paige Whitman. Aaron Pennington is the director, with Mary Nickles as producer.
"Messiah on the Frigidaire" is performed through Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Electric City Playhouse. Tickets are $12 each. Remaining shows are Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 3pm. This show is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. The show contains some adult language and themes.
ECP closes the 2019 Season with the ECP Plus Show for Mature Audiences, "The Santaland Diaries" by David Sedaris (playing December 13-15, 2019). The 2020 Season includes: "Camping with Henry and Tom"; "The Tin Woman"; "Hello, Dolly!"; "Is There Life After High School?"; "I Hate Hamlet"; and a Plus Show (TBD).
