The Greenville Council of Garden Clubs will host its 39th annual Arbor Day Celebration at the Kilgore-Lewis House Gardens and Arboretum (560 N Academy Street) on Thursday, April 22 and Friday, April 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. each day.
Participants will include the City of Greenville, TreesUpstate, Greenville Tree Foundation, Keep Greenville Green and the SC Upstate Native Plant Society. The celebration will feature a variety of information and activities for tree lovers of all ages, and TreesUpstate will give away 75 trees each day.

- 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Workshops on tree care and the City’s tree preservation efforts
