Unique Assisted Stretching Studio Reopens in Greenville

First StretchLab Location in Greenville Reopened Their Doors May 18

StretchLab, the premier assisted stretching franchise, opened Greenville’s first assisted stretching studio in January. After closing due to COVID-19 sanctions, the new studio is able to reopen their doors with specific healthy and safety modifications. Located at 1922 Augusta St., Ste 111 in McDaniel Village, StretchLab introduces people of all ages and fitness levels to the various health and wellness benefits of working with highly trained Flexologists™ in an open, modern, fun and approachable environment.

To ensure the safety of all members and staff in the studio, StretchLab Greenville is taking extra safety measures. During a stretch, clients will have at least one bench separating them from another client. All staff and clients are required to masks when in the studio. Benches will be sanitized after each use and the studio will be routinely cleaned on a daily basis with CDC approved cleaning products.

StretchLab Greenville is owned and operated by local entrepreneurs Ashley and Tom Gondi. Ashley left corporate America six years ago to become a stay-at-home mom. She was looking to pursue a business opportunity that aligned with her passion for health and wellness. After attending her first assisted stretch at StretchLab, she knew it was a concept the Greenville community could benefit from. Ashley teamed up with her husband, who has been a business owner for 20 years, to expand the health and wellness scene in Greenville. This is their first StretchLab studio and they have plans to open two more locations in the near future.

“We understand the importance of proactive stretching and have experienced the positive impact it can have on fitness performance and recovery,” said Ashley. “We love that StretchLab is for everyone and gives members instant gratification during a stretch, this is why we’re excited to open Greenville’s first assisted stretching studio.”

StretchLab offers a variety of one-on-one personalized stretching services including a 25-minute stretch that concentrates on the client’s current stretching needs, as well as a 50-minute head-to-toe deep stretch that addresses all major muscle groups. In addition to one-on-one stretching services, two small-format group stretches are available in which a trained Flexologist™ leads clients through a warm-up and sequence of stretches to address major muscle groups. Monthly memberships are available for four or eight visits per month, as well as drop-in -stretches.

The Greenville studio will also offer the TRX MAPS machine, which is a revolutionary machine that identifies movement inefficiencies across four critical categories: Mobility, Activation, Posture and Symmetry. The MAPS score is created utilizing 3D technology to perform a total body movement assessment scan in under 30 seconds, as users perform three body-weight squats. Results are delivered on-screen and via email, which will allow StretchLab’s Flexologists to better serve the needs of its diverse members. This creates a customized movement plan and offers a measurable way to see progress in flexibility.

StretchLab Greenville is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. – 8 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. – 2p.m. The studio can be reached online at www.StretchLab.com, by email at greenville@stretchlab.com or by phone at 864-808-3125.
