Chapin Police Seek Drug Store Robber

Police say a man robbed a drug store in Chapin around 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

Chapin Police are looking for a man who stole cash from a register at a Chapin drug store last week. 

The man entered the Rite Aid at 1401 Chapin Road around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, picked up two items and went to the register to pay for them, according to Chapin Police.

When the clerk opened the register, the man reached over the counter and grabbed the cash that was in the drawer, police say. He then ran from the store.

The man police believe robbed the store was captured on surveillance video. He is a black man wearing a beige or cream-colored shirt, blue jeans and a blue baseball hat.
