Dutch Fork's Alaina Coates Selected for McDonald's All-American Team

Dutch Fork Lady Foxes' Alaina Coates was named a McDonald's All-American player Thursday.

Coates, a 6-foot-4 center and future University of South Carolina Gamecock, is one of 24 girls to play in this year's game scheduled for April 3 at the United Center in Chicago. 

The final rosters for the boys and girls teams were announced Thursday during the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Show on ESPNU.

More than 800 players in the nation were nominated for the games, including Irmo High's Justin McKie.
