Matt Brophy to Coach Irmo High Soccer

Brophy, currently boys soccer coach at Byrnes High, is replacing Irmo head soccer coach Phil Savitz.

Irmo High School has a new soccer coach for the 2013-2014 school year, according to a report.

Matt Brophy, who is currently the boys soccer coach at Byrnes High School in Spartanburg, will coach soccer and teach physical education at Irmo High next school year, according to a report from Go Upstate Preps.

Brophy is replacing current Irmo head soccer coach .

Brophy has coached Byrnes Rebels soccer for the past seven seasons, according to Go Upstate Preps, leading the team to 10 wins this this year.
