Jacob Carroll "J.C." Wingard, Sr., 80, of Newberry, passed away Saturday, Oct. 20. 

A funneral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Dunbar Funeral Home's Dutch Fork Chapel in Irmo. 

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home located at 7600 Woodrow Street.
