Report: Brett Parker Federal Gambling Trial Begins Monday
The federal gambling trial begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Matthew J. Perry federal courthouse.

The federal gambling trial for Brett Parker, an Irmo man convicted of killing his wife and sports betting partner, begins Monday morning, according to a report from The State.Â
Brett Parker, his father Jack Parker and Douglas E. Taylor are facing one count of conduct of an illegal gambling business.
The gambling operation was uncovered during the investigation of the April 2012 shooting deaths of Brett Parker's wife, Tammy Jo Parker, and gambling partner, Bryan Capnerhurst.
Brett Parker was found guilty in the double-murder case in May.
The trial begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Matthew J. Perry federal courthouse, the report said.Â
