Two Women Wanted in Silver Theft at St. Andrews Road Store

Two women allegedly stole a tray of silver utensils worth about $2,600 from a St. Andrews store on Sept. 23.

Lexington County Sheriff’s detectives need help identifying two women they think were involved in stealing a tray of silver utensils from a store on St. Andrews Road in September.

Two women allegedly stole the tray of silver utensils worth about $2,600 from the St. Andrews Silver Center at 736-I St. Andrews Road near Irmo on Sept. 23.

A witness told deputies that the two women entered the store together, along with a child who appeared to be between the ages of 5 and 7, according to a sheriff’s department release.

One suspect is described as between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighs between 180 to 200 pounds. The woman said to be between the ages of 35 and 40 had shoulder-length light brown hair and was wearing a brown-and-white shirt and blue jeans.

The other woman is described as between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 5 inches and between 160 to 170 pounds. The woman, who is possible between the ages of 55 and 60, had short gray hair and was wearing a yellow shirt and pink pants.
