4 Gilbert Men Charged in Burglary at Homeowner's Workshop
The burglary happened around 12:12 a.m. Thursday on Two Notch Road in Gilbert.
Lexington County deputies arrested three teens and one man Thursday who they say stole scrap metal from a workshop near Gilbert.
Michael Damien Blasco, 17, Adam Kevin Branham, 22, Antoine Damarco Stroman, 19, and Meechie Joseph Stroman, 18, are charged with second-degree burglary, according to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department. The four live together on Two Notch Road in Gilbert.
Deputies say the four broke into a workshop outside a home on Two Notch Road near Gilbert around 12:12 a.m. Thursday and tried to steal scrap metal.
The homeowner saw Blasco, Branham, Atoine Stroman and Meechie Stroman in the workshop, according to the sheriff's department. The four men ran away after the homeowner saw them.
The homeowner called the sheriff's department and provided deputies with descriptions. Deputies went to the house where the four men live together and found them pretending to be asleep, according to the sheriff's department.
The homeowner identified Blasco, Branham, Atoine Stroman and Meechie Stroman as the men who tried to break into his workshop.
Deputies found that items from the workshop had been placed in piles near the building’s rear door, according to the sheriff's department. The items included copper wire, two metal pans and one metal light fixture.
