Serious construction has begin on a new neighborhood with nearly 100 homes near Lexington High School.
Oldefield Village, located on Olde Farm Road directly across from LHS, has homes by Fortress Builders and Holiday Builders for sale.
The neighborhood will have 94 homes with quarter-acre lots, according to the Fortress Builders website, with homes starting in the low $100,000s.
According to the Holiday Builders website, homeowners can choose from a range of home designs starting at $150,000.
The homes will be very convenient to high school students but traffic getting onto Olde Farm and U.S. 1 during certain times of the day will be complicated.
