The lecture on 11 March 2014 revealed that research done in the 1990s indicated something that locals to Big Pond Branch have known for a century or more... The Big Pond Branch region is an area where a large number of artifacts have been found since the mid 1800s. This map shows some of that research as it relates to the two sites that were also connected by an old path.
