Lexington High Gets New Assistant Principal
Dave Seddon, currently assistant principal at Pelion High, will serve as assistant principal at Lexington High this school year.

Lexington High has a new assistant principal for the 2013-2014 school year.
David J. Seddon is transferring to Lexington High from Pelion Middle, where he currently serves as assistant principal.
Seddon joined Lexington County School District One in 2012 after moving from Michigan where he served as assistant principal at Marine City High School in the East China School District.

He has 24 years of education experience. He began his teaching career in 1989 as a business education, social studies and health teacher and basketball coach at Yale Public Schools in Michigan. In 1992, he joined the East China School District as a business education, social studies and driver’s education teacher. He was promoted to assistant principal in 2007.
Seddon graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in education. He also holds a master’s degree in educational administration from Central Michigan University.

He is a member of the South Carolina Association of School Administrators and is a lifetime member of the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan.
