Lexington Mayor Randy Halfacre is facing opposition as he campaigns to get re-elected in November, according to a report.
Lexington Town Councilman Steve MacDougall is running against Halfacre, according to The State. It will be the only race on the Nov. 5 ballot because the other three council members whose seats are up for election have no challengers.
