Lt. Gov. Glenn McConnell to Speak at Shepherd's Center of Lexington
McConnell will give a presentation on aging Thursday at Lexington United Methodist Church.
Lieutenant Governor Glenn McConnell will speak Thursday during the opening general session for the Shepherd's Center of Lexington.
The event is open to the public and starts at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary at Lexington United Methodist Church.
McConnell, who oversees the South Carolina Office on Aging, will give a presentation on "The Many Faces of Aging in South Carolina."

The presentation is part of the Shepherd Center’s Spring “Adventures in Learning” series. Older adults who participate in the program seek knowledge, ask questions, and encounter new ideas and insights. For more information, visit the Shepherd’s Center of Lexington website at www.sclex.org.
Additional parking is available in the large east parking lot of Lexington Baptist Church across the street. A police officer will be available to assist in crossing the street. Do not park in the gravel parking lot to the right of Lexington United Methodist Church (LUMC) since it is private property.
