The 2013 Outback Bowl was a back-and-forth affair for the final five minutes, but South Carolina (11-2) scored last and defeated Michigan, 33-28.

Dylan Thompson, who relieved the injured Connor Shaw at quarterback on the final drive, threw a 32-yard TD pass to Bruce Ellington in the final seconds to seal the victory.

It caps the first back-to-back 11-win seasons in Gamecock history.
