Report: Former Lexington Lawyer Breibart to Plead Guilty Wednesday
Lexington lawyer Richard J. Breibart was indicted on charges of extortion and fraud.

Richard J. Breibart, a former Lexington lawyer facing extortion and fraud charges, will plead guilty in federal court Wednesday morning, according to a report.
Breibart was scheduled to plea guilty in October, according to The State, but federal prosecutors moved the date up.

A federal grand jury returned a 10-count indictment against Breibart last September including charges of extortion and fraud. He is accused of taking more than $1 million from clients after threatening them with made-up charges.
