Was Clowney's Tackle The 2nd-Hardest Hit in USC-Michigan History?

Nearly 30 years ago, another big Gamecock tackle came against Michigan.

A day later, people are still talking about Jadeveon Clowney's hit and forced fumble in South Carolina's 33-28 win over Michigan in the Outback Bowl.

But in 1985, it was another hard tackle by a Gamecock player against Michigan that already claimed (at least on YouTube) to be "The Hit."

It was delivered by South Carolina's Willie Hill and it was the last time before Monday the two teams played one another.

The biggest difference? South Carolina lost that game at home, 34-3, to the Wolverines.
