Attorney General Alan Wilson to Speak at Bob Jones University

Talk is free and open to the public.

South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson will address the Bob Jones University Pre-Law Forum on Thurs., Sept. 19. The public is invited to join students and faculty for the presentation.

The forum, which begins at 6 p.m., will be held in Stratton Hall near the university’s Welcome Center. Following his presentation, General Wilson will conduct a short Q&A session.

Wilson took office on January 12, 2011, becoming the nation’s youngest Attorney General.

As South Carolina’s Attorney General, Wilson is the state’s chief prosecutor, chief securities officer, and the state’s chief legal counsel. The office is comprised of more than two hundred employees and nearly seventy-five attorneys who manage nearly 8,000 active case files. 

Prior to his election as Attorney General, he served in the Attorney General’s office as a prosecution division intern under Charlie Condon and as an Assistant Attorney General under Henry McMaster.
