With the filing period now closed, three Mauldin City Council incumbents will be challenged for their seats in the Nov. 5 election.
The non-partisan, at-large races shake out as follows:
- Council member Patricia Gettys will face a challenge from Taft Matney for Seat 1.
- Council member Gabe Hunter will face off against former Council member Randy Kuzniar for Seat 3.
- Council member Dale Black will face a challenge from former Council member James Kennedy.
