Driver of truck that hit family charged with felony DUI.

Update: The driver of a truck that killed a mother and seriously injured her three young children has been charged with felony DUI.
The driver of the truck, Andrew Joseph Glasier, 26, of Elizabeth Sara Boulevard in Greer, has been charged with felony driving under the influence involving death. He was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Greenville County deputy coroner Barry Wright said Shauntia Jackson, 26, was driving north on the interstate near exit 40Â when the crash occurred, Fox Carolina reported.Â
Jackson's three children were transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, along without the truck's driver, the station reported.

Jackson was reportedly driving home from Charlotte. Her husband, who was driving in a car ahead of her, reportedly called Jackson to alert her that the truck was on the wrong side of the road and to get over, but was too late.
The northbound lanes of the 385, now reopened, were closed between 3:30-6:30 a.m. while authorities investigated and cleared the accident site.
