Video: Jadeveon Clowney Tackle To Live in Gamecock History

The sophomore defensive end showed why he's one of the country's top football players.

Michigan's coaches did everything they could to keep South Carolina's Jadeveon Clowney from being a major factor in Tuesday's Outback Bowl.

It worked for, oh, about 52 minutes.

But when the Gamecocks, trailing 22-21 with eight minutes to play, were denied the ball following a questionable first-down call by Big East officials, he would be denied no longer.

Clowney broke through the line, nailing the Wolverine runningback — sending the ball in one direction and the player's helmut in the other. Clowney then recovered the fumble, which led to the Gamecocks taking a short-lived 27-22 lead.
